About us

We accelerate discipleship movements in hard places by connecting and empowering God’s people. We do this in response to the 3 billion people who live without access to the Gospel.

OVERLOOKED AND UNREACHED

90% of foreign missionaries work among people groups that are already considered reached. At Uncharted, we focus on Locations that are unreached, overlooked, and forgotten—places that are both underserved and have a low response to the Gospel. Currently we have Field Partners in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and North Africa.

HOLISTIC DISCIPLESHIP

Holistic discipleship movements include both proclaiming the good news of Jesus and helping meet people’s physical or material needs. Humanitarian efforts are not the means to an end, but a demonstration of the gospel.

Each community includes outreach & discipleship, humanitarian efforts addressing tangible needs of the local community, and leadership development for the ultimate goal of multiplying a local church presence.

ROBUST ECCLESIOLOGY

Connection happens in both directions. Our Field Partners and the Uncharted community back home experience genuine friendship and a sharing of relationship, resources, and soul care.

We desire to see to see the people of God engage in the mission of God. To do this, we work to personally connect our donors and Church Partners to our international Field Partners.

Relationships, not models

Because the context of each Location is unique, we do not subscribe to one method of disciple-making. Instead, we work alongside our Field Partners to support the ministries they create that are specific to their communities. Some of the work we help support includes a sewing school for women, a community center for refugees, food distributions, and free medical clinics.
